Word Template Batch Fill

Full instructions and common questions

Word Template Batch Fill

Generate editable documents from your own DOCX template and CSV or Excel data. Map ordinary {{Field}} variables, review each record and export locally in your browser.

How to use

  1. Upload a standard DOCX or load the fictional example. Ordinary double-brace variables in body text, tables, headers and footers are supported.
  2. Read the table, choose a worksheet and confirm every field mapping. Store IDs with leading zeros as text in Excel. Complete missing values or explicitly allow blanks.
  3. Review a record’s text, download one DOCX to check its actual layout, then generate the batch.
  4. Download the ZIP and record manifest. Duplicate names receive unique numbers; the source template remains unchanged.

Try an example

The example has two fictional records. After confirming mappings, generate two Word documents with different names and IDs, including variables in the header, table and footer.

Limits and privacy

A template up to 10 MB and 50 MB inflated; up to 200 records, 200 documents and 100 MB of actual outputs. Variables cannot cross paragraphs. Merge fields, text boxes, revisions and content controls with variables require template cleanup. Text review does not represent Word pagination.

Common questions

Does it retain logos and tables?

It replaces supported text variables and preserves other package parts. Download one DOCX and check the layout in Word or a compatible app.

Does it generate PDF or send mail?

It generates editable DOCX files and ZIP archives, without pagination rendering, PDF conversion or automatic sending.
