Batch Image OCR

Full instructions and common questions

Batch Image OCR

Recognize Simplified Chinese and English in multiple images locally. Combine text in file order, download TXT or pass it to text tools for cleanup, making screenshot and scan text available for copying and editing.

How to use

  1. Choose one or more clear images and check the file list. Use Omni Scanner for PDFs or scans that need enhancement first.
  2. Start OCR and wait for the local engine and language resources to load and recognize each image.
  3. Compare output with the originals. Multiple-image output includes filename separators; carefully check IDs, amounts, punctuation and ordering.
  4. Download the text file or pass the result to a text tool for cleanup and review.

Try an example

Choose two clear test images containing HELLO 123 and TEST 456. Combined output should contain both text sections and filename separators, subject to manual recognition review.

Limits and privacy

This page recognizes Simplified Chinese and English images. It does not directly read PDFs, retain page layout, produce searchable PDFs or reconstruct complex tables. First use loads OCR components and language resources from this site. Large batches depend on device memory; blur, handwriting and unusual fonts can reduce accuracy.

Common questions

Can I edit OCR output directly here?

The result area is read-only. Download TXT or pass it to text tools for editing. Omni Scanner offers text review beside the scan.

Are images sent to a remote OCR service?

No. Recognition runs in your browser, with OCR components and language resources loaded from this site.
