Full instructions and common questions
Resume & Job Match Checklist
Compare resume text with a job description locally and review keyword coverage, common sections, and quantified-result cues.
How to use
- Paste resume and job-post text, or load a TXT, Markdown, DOCX, or text-based PDF resume.
- Optionally provide must-have terms you have verified; otherwise candidate terms are extracted from the job post.
- Review the checklist and only add terms that truthfully match your experience.
Try an example
If a role mentions SQL and project management, SQL appears as covered when it is present in your resume. Missing terms are only prompts for review.
Limits and privacy
This checks text and common headings only. It does not verify experience or predict any employer’s ATS decision. Scanned PDFs need OCR first; files are limited to 20 MB and 30 pages. Resume text is processed in the current page.
Common questions
Is this an ATS pass score?
No. Employer systems differ. This tool provides a local text checklist only.
How can I improve Chinese keyword matching?
