Amazon Product Preparation
Full instructions and common questions
Amazon Product Preparation
Prepare Amazon product drafts from CSV, JSON or Excel. Map SKUs, titles, prices and bullet points, check field issues, then export CSV or Listing JSON for review against the official marketplace and category template.
How to use
- Import CSV, TSV, JSON or XLSX and choose a worksheet, with one SKU or variant per row. You can start with the two travel-mug examples.
- Review automatically mapped SKUs, titles, prices, currencies, images, bullet points and SEO fields. Unmapped source fields are excluded; download the original data if needed.
- Resolve duplicate SKUs, missing titles, invalid prices and formula-like cells, then inspect the first 50 preview rows.
- Download CSV or Listing JSON, or save the result. Continue in the official Amazon template for your marketplace and category and verify its required fields.
Try an example
The sample has MUG-BLUE and MUG-RED at USD 19.90 and 21.90. Both exported CSV and Listing JSON should retain these SKUs and the original descriptions.
Limits and privacy
Up to 10 MB per file and 10,000 rows per table. The output is a product-information draft, not a universal Amazon inventory upload. It does not connect a seller account, publish products or translate text. Image checks validate URL syntax, not remote availability.
Common questions
Can I upload this CSV directly to Amazon?
Marketplace and category templates differ. Check official headers, required fields and import rules; this tool prepares source product information.
Are custom source fields retained?
Unmapped fields are excluded from the draft. Download the original data and use cross-platform mapping when you need a specific output header.
