Download a two-color specimen and record location with value

two-colors.png is 600×300: source x=0–299 is #0d9488 and x=300–599 is #334155. Coordinates start at the source’s upper-left; the interface may display a scaled image.

1. Load the PNG in the picker, process and click well inside the left half. Record HEX and repeat at a nearby interior point.

2. Pick the right interior and record its HEX. Select by source region rather than fixed screen coordinates that ignore scaling.

3. Open transparent.png separately and inspect the fields actually provided. HEX without an alpha field does not establish opacity.

Expect #0d9488 and #334155 in the respective interiors; HEX letter case is immaterial. Nearby interior checks should agree. The boundary, gray edge and transparent areas are outside this uniform-region test.

An old left-side clipboard value can be incorrectly paired with a new right-side click. Check the current displayed value before copying. Color-managed delivery requires additional space/environment checks beyond this file-pixel exercise.
